There are loads of chicken-restaurants in portugal, and also in the Algarve. Only one is real famous and absolutely stunning good! : Theodosio in Algoz.
During the wintertime you can go there for a simple but very fine meal, in the summertime this is a real busy place to go. The restaurant has aprox 400 chairs, but people are still waiting outside to be seated!
When eating there you actually have only one choice: Chicken PiriPiri. Together with Tomato salad, fries, a bottle of red win, a dessert and an espresso, this will cost you only 15 euros.
Hans and I have eaten in this joint 4 times this week, and be sure you are hungry when going there because going there for a romantic dinner is not really the right choice. |
